Flourishing in Dry Seasons

You might look around right now and see nothing growing.

Dreams seem buried. Opportunities feel scarce.

It looks like a desert — but God calls it preparation ground.

“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon.” — Psalm 92:12

But who are the righteous?

Not the perfect.

Not the powerful.

The righteous are those in right standing with God — surrendered, forgiven, aligned.

Right Standing Produces Resilience

The desert doesn’t define the righteous — it refines them.

Others may wither under heat; you’ll root deeper into grace.

Because your source isn’t circumstance — it’s connection.

How to Flourish Even Here

  • Stay rooted in truth. Don’t let temporary dryness make you question eternal promises.
  • Nourish your spirit daily. Prayer, Word, worship — your irrigation system.
  • Release control. Flourishing is God’s work, not your performance.
  • Bless others in scarcity. Seeds still multiply, even in sand.

The Promise To Hold On To

You will flourish — not because conditions are perfect, but because your position is secure.

Even in the desert, the righteous bloom.

And if you are in Him, that’s you.

Dedicating your spirit, soul, and body to the Lord is more than a song. It's a daily decision.
Even though your outward man is perishing, your inward man is being renewed day by day.
